Guidance for Teams:
- Individuals may only serve on TWO teams at a time. There will be collaboration between teams on some ministries and activities, and this may mean a person works WITH more than two teams, but they are only to engage in the planning and be responsible for the operation of two teams as their sphere of responsibility.
- Individuals may only lead ONE team at a time.
- Individuals may only lead their team for up to three years.
- Team leads should be focused on identifying and mentoring members of their team for future leadership in their team, for another team, or for sending out to plant new churches and faith initiatives.
- The Worship team, Trustees team, and Leadership Team do not count toward the two teams a person may serve on. However, to avoid over-taxing leaders, the Leadership Chair, Trustee Chair and Lay Leader should not lead teams.
- Membership is not a requirement to serve on most teams, but it IS a requirement to lead a team.*
- Spiritual Gifts workshop will be held prior to team formations, all desiring to participate in teams are requested to attend.
